Apprenticeship Training

Apprenticeship training is a mode of vocational training organized on an alternating basis between public vocational training institutions and the professional environment. It aims to provide initial vocational qualification through an apprenticeship position, enabling the practice of a profession across various sectors of activity related to the production of goods and/or services.

(Law No. 10-18 of 25 Ramadan 1439 AH, corresponding to 10 June 2018, establishing the implementing rules in the field of apprenticeship.)

Conditions for Admission to Apprenticeship Training

Any young person aged between 15 and 35 may enroll in and pursue apprenticeship training.

Persons with special needs (physically disabled individuals) are exempt from the maximum age requirement.

What Is an Apprenticeship Position?

An apprenticeship position is any job position designated by the employer to ensure practical training for apprentices in the occupation or specialization covered by the apprenticeship contract.
