Catalogue of Vocational Fields and Specializations – 2019 Edition
(Established by Order No. 197 of 11 June 2019, amending and supplementing Order No. 317 of 6 Ramadan 1439 corresponding to 22 May 2018, which defined the 2018 edition of the Catalogue of Vocational Fields and Specializations.)
The Catalogue of Vocational Fields and Specializations is a tool for monitoring and regulating occupations, developed in line with the evolution of activity sectors. It defines all the characteristics of the vocational fields and training specializations offered, as well as those planned for the short, medium, and long term.
It has a national scope and constitutes the legal reference framework for vocational training programs and the certificates awarded, as defined by Executive Decree No. 16-282 of 2 November 2016, establishing the system of initial vocational training and the corresponding certifications.
It is structured within a single guide that includes all training modes (in-person training, apprenticeship training, and distance training), addressing the issue of underutilization of technical and pedagogical equipment encountered during the implementation of the 2018 edition of the Catalogue.
The 2019 edition of the Catalogue of Vocational Fields and Specializations is structured into twenty-three (23) vocational fields covering the main areas of activity. It contains four hundred and ninety-five (495) specializations across all training modes, including twenty-one (21) newly introduced specializations distributed across nine (09) vocational fields.
