On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Mr. Yacine Oualid, Minister of Vocational Training and Education, jointly with Mr. Ghrib Saifi, Minister of Industry, and Mr. Abdelkrim Laamouri, Wali of Bouira Province, presided over the inauguration of the Moudjahid Missoum Issa Center of Excellence for Textile and Leather in the municipality of Aïn Bessem. This marks a significant step toward advancing specialized vocational training in promising industrial fields.

This high-level center was established in response to the needs of economic operators in the textile and leather sectors. It offers both theoretical and practical training programs of high quality and aims to prepare a select group of trainers and experts. The center operates under a pedagogical steering committee that includes representatives from the industrial sector, ensuring alignment between training content and labor market demands.

The center is part of a broader network of Centers of Excellence being developed by the Ministry in partnership with the Ministry of Industry. This initiative is part of a comprehensive approach designed to strengthen the national industrial fabric and empower young people with real-world skills that enhance their employability and integration into the workforce.
